One of the great things about writing a book about my business is every project poses material for a new and exciting chapter.  Last year while working on a rather sizeable Chester County estate I made a discovery - not just any ordinary discovery, but a national treasure - perhaps worth millions!  Sorry, I'm sworn to secrecy, but when my book is released I guarantee you'll know.

DONATIONS: Victims of domestic violence and their children were treated to a "Holiday House" at Richnow LifeStyle Transitions at the Lincoln Independence Park in West Chester earlier this month. 

Attendees were able to select gifts and holiday decorations for themselves and family members from a large assortment of items donated by Richnow's clients.  Richnow also gave the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County a $1,700 donation in checks and gift cards. The donations were raised in a silent auction and fundraiser held by Richnow in November.

Richnow LifeStyle Transitions provides an array of services designed to help people downsize, de-clutter and organize their homes. Their primary focus is on serving the adult and senior population across seven counties in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

The Chester County Women's Commission is celebrating their 15th Anniversary this month and have selected four unique women because of their dedication and hard work in making Chester County a better place. 

On Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 5:30 to 7:30pm these women were honored with a reception at the historic Chester County Courthouse in West Chester, PA.  Each woman was given a citation from the Chester County Commissioners honoring their volunteer efforts.

     Our mission is to support full and equal opportunity for women, identify the needs of women and advocate for solutions, promote leadership roles for women, and act in an advisory capacity to the County Board of Commissioners.
